Try Moon Milk for Better Sleep: Sip Away Insomnia with Two Delicious Recipes

Is sleep evading you? If so, this soothing nighttime beverage may help you settle in for a good night’s rest.

Moon milk is trending big right now, and for a good reason. This traditional warm-milk drink is chock full of delightful herbs and spices that not only support healthy sleep but also a healthy immune system.

Read on to find out what moon milk is, plus snag two Truvani-tested recipes to try before bed.

What exactly is moon milk?

Moon milk is rooted in Ayurveda, a centuries-old holistic healing system. It’s a warm milk beverage, sometimes called masala doodh, which is commonly made with almonds, pistachios, ashwagandha, turmeric, nutmeg, black pepper, dried rose petals, and other herbs and spices.

But research also suggests that having small amounts of healthy fats with antioxidant-rich foods may help your body better absorb certain nutrients. When you combine warm milk with these nutritious ingredients… it’s a win-win for your bedtime routine (no sweat if you choose a non-dairy option as you still reap the benefits).

We’ve snagged two of our favorite Truvani kitchen-tested Moon Milk recipes to share with you.

They can be added to your evening routine and may use dairy or any dairy substitute.
