Our co-founder Vani Hari, better known as The Food Babe, started out as an activist who wanted to hold big companies accountable for what they put into their products. And she made tremendous progress with the help of her online following dubbed "The Food Babe Army."

But after years of fighting, she realized that the only way to make a truly lasting change in the food system is to compete with these big companies head-to-head.

About The Position

Truvani is looking for an energetic, passionate, and self-driven Content Creator & Community Expert with a proven track record for driving traffic, fostering community, and increasing engagement through Facebook, Instagram, and email content.

Our ideal candidate is strategy-minded when it comes to community creation. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy to support our mission, build brand awareness, and foster a raving community around Truvani.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A people person with excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Possesses a “strategy mindset” around community creation.
  • Has a proven track record for driving traffic, fostering community, and increasing engagement through Facebook, Instagram, and email content.
  • Experienced in creating compelling social content that entices people to like, comment, hashtag, and share.
  • Mastered the art of storytelling that elicits emotional responses and gets people to take action.
  • Experienced in developing, managing, and measuring social media strategies that increase traffic and engagement.
  • A firm understanding of user experience and strong search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) skills preferred.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Create strategic, on-brand content for our weekly newsletter.
  • Create engaging content for Facebook and Instagram that entices people to like, comment, hashtag, and share.
  • Produce and maintain a content calendar to ensure Truvani has a strong content pipeline at all times.
  • Develop and execute campaigns designed to support our mission, build brand awareness, increase traffic, and foster a raving community around Truvani.
  • Cultivate new content ideas and brainstorm innovative content formats.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team to support their missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating an engaged social media community.
  • Communicate visual needs to our designers and illustrators to develop necessary design elements.
  • Image editing ability a plus.

  • Full time market-based compensation based on experience
